ROLE SUMMARY
The Marketing & Development Intern provides essential support to Heritage’s marketing and business development functions, assisting in the execution of campaigns, events, and client communications. This role offers hands-on experience in a dynamic, collaborative environment, contributing to projects that enhance the firm’s brand presence and client engagement.Working closely with the Director of Marketing, Director of Business Development, and senior team members, the Intern will gain exposure to strategic initiatives while performing day-to-day tasks that ensure smooth operations.
This position is ideal for a motivated individual seeking to develop skills in marketing, communications, and professional services within the wealth management industry.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in creating and distributing marketing materials, presentations, and social media content.
- Support event planning and execution, including logistics, vendor coordination, and onsite assistance.
- Help maintain and update the firm’s website and social media platforms.
- Conduct market research and compile competitor analysis to inform business development strategies.
- Assist with CRM data entry, reporting, and pipeline tracking.
- Support the development of newsletters, client communications, and thought leadership content.
- Prepare meeting materials and assist with scheduling and administrative tasks.
- Collaborate with team members on special projects and initiatives as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s program in marketing, communications, business, or related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with digital marketing tools is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
