About This Role
A Salesforce Developer is needed to support a federal program in Washington, DC. This fully onsite role focuses on designing, developing, and enhancing Salesforce applications in a secure environment. An active Secret clearance is required on day one.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and customize Salesforce applications, components, and integrations.
- Build Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWCs), Visualforce pages, and automation flows.
- Configure Salesforce objects, fields, workflows, validation rules, and security settings.
- Develop and maintain integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, or ETL tools.
- Support platform upgrades, releases, and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot issues, ensure data integrity, and maintain documentation.
- Work within Agile or iterative development environments.
Required Qualifications
- Active Secret clearance (TS preferred)
- 3+ years of Salesforce development experience.
- Proficiency with Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL/SOSL, and Salesforce configuration.
- Experience with Salesforce integrations and API development.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce security, sharing models, and best practices.
- Ability to work onsite in Washington, DC.
- Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Salesforce Platform Developer I or II certification.
- Experience supporting federal agencies or secure environments.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Git, Copado, or Gearset.
- Experience with Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, or custom application development.
