Qualification, Experience and Competencies
• Grade 12/ Matric • Qualified turner artisan or Applicable Engineering Degree • Minimum 8 years Management experience with a team in running an engineering workshop. • Good knowledge of engineering principles with focus on Generator components. • Further studies within this field will be an advantage.• Prior experience in HVOF, ARC spray, CNC• Sound business communication skills (Negotiation; Presentation, etc.) • Ability to work independently, under pressure and meeting deadlines.
• Show initiative by thinking creatively. • High level of computer literacy with focus on Microsoft and engineering programs.• Financials for non-financial managers • Exposure to business planning / budgeting processes. • People management skills and experience
