Job Overview
We’re looking for a Tax Analyst to join our Accounting & Finance team. This role will report directly to the VP of Tax and support various U.S. and international tax matters. In this role, you’ll help execute tax planning initiatives, manage compliance across multiple tax types, and coordinate closely with outside advisors. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their tax career who wants hands-on exposure to partnership taxation, complex transactions, and the inner workings of a growing, global business.You’ll work closely with senior finance leaders, external tax advisors, and internal stakeholders, playing a key role in keeping the company compliant while helping the business understand and manage tax risk.
What You’ll Do
- Support the VP of Tax in implementing tax planning strategies, including coordination with outside tax advisors
- Assist with tax analysis related to partner transactions, including returns of capital, draws, distributions, and annual allocations
- Monitor U.S. federal, state, local, and international tax developments and help summarize potential impacts to the business
- Review federal, state, and international corporate tax filings, estimates, and extensions prepared by external advisors
- Help manage quarterly estimated K-1s and projected tax distributions for partners, including related forecasting
- Assist with tax diligence and modeling for M&A and financing transactions, with a focus on entity structuring and tax impacts
- Manage and own compliance for property taxes, sales and use taxes, and city business taxes across multiple jurisdictions
- Support preparation and review of the global income tax provision and related documentation
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or similar field required (Advanced credentials such as a CPA or MST are considered a strong plus)
- 1–3 years of experience in tax, accounting, or a related role (public accounting or in-house experience both welcome)
- Foundational understanding of U.S. partnership taxation; exposure to international tax is a plus
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand complex transactions and explain them clearly
- Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple workstreams and deadlines
- Clear communicator who can work effectively with senior leaders and external advisors
- Curious and proactive — someone who asks questions and wants to understand the “why,” not just the “how”
- Experience with Excel; familiarity with tax provisions is helpful but not required; experience with Workday financial reporting software is a plus
Base salary range: $75K - 85K, plus bonus potential if applicable for role.Actual base salary is dependent on several factors including but not limited to; market dynamics, location and region, experience, specialized skills/training (education), level of responsibility, budgetary considerations, tenure at the company (for current employees), etc. The salary range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
