QUALIFICATIONS:
BA in Project Management, Information Systems, Business, or related field; 5 year or more related experience in project management and process improvement initiatives; PMP desired but not required; DL Preferred but not required; Technical experience with EHR/EMR systems, excellent computer skills, proficiency with excel, data analytics, project management and IT software, and other applications as needed; Able to create process maps, conduct operational analysis of processes and apply Project Management methodologies.
Knowledge of IT and other functional areas to support change management strategies.
JOB SUMMARY:To promote the mission of PATH to help individuals achieve a more independent and fulfilling life, the Project Manager – Electronic Health Record and Special Projects will work to improve processes and procedures that enhances the efficiency of the organization by implementing new practices, technologies, and change management methodologies.
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
Lead and execute cross-functional special projects across Health Information Management, Quality Improvement, Training, and Human Resources departments in partnership with the Chief Administrative and Compliance Officer, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and approved scope, budget, and timelines. Oversee full project lifecycle from requirements gathering and vendor coordination through testing, training, go-live, and post-implementation review ensuring measurable operational improvements.Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including task ownership, resource allocation, risk mitigation, and milestone tracking, maintaining high on-time completion rates and minimal schedule variance.Analyze workflows and operational processes; implement process enhancements that improve efficiency, compliance, and performance outcomes.Monitor project risks, scope changes, and corrective actions to maintain progress and achieve defined deliverables.Lead project meetings, capture and monitor action items to completion, and deliver regular status updates to leadership highlighting milestones, risks, mitigation strategies, and overall progress. Ensure thorough, accurate project documentation to promote compliance, long-term sustainability, and seamless organizational continuity.Develop and implement training programs, user guides, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs); ensure high staff training completion rates and demonstrated competency post-implementation.Manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment while meeting established performance metrics and deadlines.Collaborate with executive leadership to evaluate vendor solutions, develop comparative analyses, and support data-driven decision-making
