NOVA Engineering & Environmental is hiring a Deltek Vantagepoint Specialist (Senior Analyst) to join our Corporate Team. This is a fully remote position, ideally suited for candidates within driving distance of our offices in
Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, or South Carolina, to support collaboration as needed. This Senior Analyst will serve as the primary administrator and subject matter expert for the firm’s ERP system. This role bridges the gap between finance and project management, ensuring that users are trained, system security is maintained in close relationship with HR/IT, and complex project accounting—including revenue recognition and accruals—is handled with precision.
Key Responsibilities:
- User Support & Training: Act as the first point of contact for troubleshooting user issues and providing ongoing training to staff and "super users" on Vantagepoint modules.
- Financial Operations: Manage complex accounting tasks including monthly accruals, intercompany billing, and revenue recognition methods.
- Analysis & Reporting: Research budget variances and develop custom reports or dashboards to provide leadership with actionable data and project insights via Vantagepoint and Microsoft Excel.
- System Security & Governance: Manage user roles, permissions, and security settings to ensure data integrity and compliance.
- Upgrades & Maintenance: Oversee system upgrades and performance optimization, ensuring the environment remains scalable and reliable.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or work experience.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience with Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint, preferably within the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry.
Technical Skills:
- Deep understanding of project-based accounting (GAAP and FAR standards).
- Proficiency in developing SQL-based reports and utilizing advanced Excel for data analysis.
- Experience with month-end close and financial statement preparation
- Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning systems and advanced Excel skills
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Certifications: Deltek Vantagepoint Accounting or Master Certification is highly preferred.
