Description


The Coretek ServiceNow Developer will demonstrate skills in areas for administration, development, documentation, and technical support of the ServiceNow platform. This position requires a deep understanding of ServiceNow application code, workflows, business rules, and integrations, as well as experience with Agile/Scrum environments, backlog management, sprint execution, and continuous improvement. Additionally, the candidate must have relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority.

Responsibilities


  • Administration, development, documentation, and technical support of the ServiceNow platform. 
  • Provide software configuration including, but not limited to screen tailoring, workflow administration, report setup, data imports, integration, scripting and third-party software integrations. 
  • Design, develop and implement Service Catalog workflows, ITIL processes, ITAM, SACM, Knowledge, Agile, IRM, SecOps and Release Management modules within ServiceNow platform. 
  • Review and refine designs for usability, reviews testing scenarios and refining test cases, to ensure applications quality 
  • Integrate ServiceNow application(s) with third party systems/applications via APIs
  • Produces and maintains detailed system documentation including design specs, maintenance, troubleshooting, deployment, disaster recovery, tech notes, and testing, etc. 
  • Develop, design and roll out new application modules, workflows and catalog requests, and recommend solutions that deliver customer value 
  • Manage upgrades and ensure backward compatibility of customizations and integrations
  • Interacts with stakeholders from across the business 
  • Implement technology specific best practices and standards. 

Requirements


Requirements


  • Minimum 7 years of recent experience in solution architecture, with a focus on ServiceNow including extensive experience in two or more ServiceNow modules (LSD, WSD, ITAM/ITOM, HRSC, IRM, CSM and more)
  • Three of the following ServiceNow certifications are required:
  • CAD (Certified Application Developer)
  • CIS (Certified Implementation Specialist)
  • Micro-Certification Flow Designer
  • CSA (Certified System Administrator)
  • CTA (Certified Technical Architect)
  • Preferred experience in one or more of the following: JavaScript, REST APIs, C#, git, Azure DevOps.
  • Strong understanding of practical application of ServiceNow as it relates to industry solutions, as well as an understanding of the interconnectedness between modules and core data
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, supporting backlog management, sprint execution, and continuous improvement
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Experience and knowledge of sustainment lifecycle management activities for programs and project operations.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and cross-functional teams
