Working at Glenmede, you will experience the infrastructure and resources of a large firm combined with the client and employee focus of an independently owned boutique.This position will operate in a hybrid work environment, 3 days per week in the office (Philadelphia, PA).
OVERVIEW:
The Platform Solutions Department works with different business lines to support strategic initiatives and client service across the organization. The department is made up of Relationship Management Services, Investment Management Services, Performance Measurement, Investment Systems Support, and application administrators. Investment Management Services supports both Institutional and Private Wealth Portfolio Management by providing high quality data oversight across systems to ensure up to date positions and cash figures to facilitate trading.
The team also supports investment-related goals and initiatives by partnering with teams across business lines to support change management within Glenmede.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure the success of the highest priority strategic and tactical initiatives
- Act as the bridge between business sponsors and infrastructure partners
- Establish a partnership culture for every project
- Syndicate deliverables, timelines, and ROIs for projects of all sizes
- Perform cash and security position reconciliations for external custody accounts
- Troubleshoot and investigate exceptions through communications with portfolio management and custodians
- Support the Separately Managed Accounts Operations team
- Reconcile daily cash flows for mutual funds
- Provide middle office trade support for fixed income and equity trading
- Perform data oversight and control functions for client accounts and security positions in the trading system
- Investigate and resolve cash overdrafts in a timely manner
- Assist Private Wealth and Technology teams across multiple investment-related projects
- Respond in a timely manner to ad hoc portfolio manager and trader requests
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio)
- Basic understanding of equity and fixed income products
- Flexibility and quick learning
- Desire to work in a team environment
- Experience taking on leadership roles for class projects
- Desire to sit for CFP or CFA designations after college
