Position Details:
As part of the Research, SDI team, you will report to the Science Director, MEL Core. You will lead the Informatics and Analytics team, overseeing data management workflows, and reporting activities that support monitoring, evaluation, and learning projects across the Institute. You will manage a team of data professionals to perform data quality control and ensure data processing, interpretation, and reporting. Working in close collaboration with other teams, you will guide analytics projects, create indicators, develop data dashboards and reports, and translate complex data into applicable insights.
You will be responsible for project planning, timeline and team management, quality assurance of analytical outputs, and promoting collaboration with internal and external partners to improve evidence-based decision-making. This is an exempt, full-time, hybrid position located ((in our NYC headquarters office or other relevant location. This position requires a minimum of four (4) days per week in the office, on a schedule determined by your supervisor. The in-office requirement and schedule are subject to change based on the needs of the program and the organization.
You Will:
- Lead the Informatics and Analytics team, providing direction and oversight of all analytical activities
- Manage project plans, timelines, and documentation while identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies
- Oversee data management workflows across multiple platforms, ensuring data integrity and quality control
- Set priorities, analytical requirements, and timelines for MEL Core informatics projects in collaboration with senior leadership
- Collaborate with the Director of Program Management and Operations to integrate data acquisition and analytics workflows
- Work with applied neuroscience, machine learning, and evaluation teams to support complex analyses and produce reports for funding agencies
- Develop data dashboards, visualization tools, and reporting systems for evidence-based decision-making
- Support manuscript preparation, data visualization, and distribution of research findings
- Communicate with PIs, MEL Core leadership, and external partners
- Perform additional job-related responsibilities as assigned
You Have:
- Master's degree in data science, Statistics, Psychology, Public Health, BiomedicalEngineering, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of clinical research, data analytics, or project management experience, with atleast 2 years in a supervisory role
- Proficiency in statistical programming languages (R, Python, STATA, SAS) and datavisualization tools (such as Power BI)
- Experience with data management systems and electronic data capture platforms(REDCap, SQL databases)
- Knowledge of research methodologies, evaluation frameworks, and data analysistechniques)

Pay Range
The salary range for the position is posted. Factors such as candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations affect the salary offered within this range. In addition, this salary may be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state and depending on the role), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
