Job Summary:
The Consultant will be responsible for providing exceptional client service in the water industry through various multi-disciplinary projects, including utility rate, fee, and financial forecasting, management consulting, and other related services.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Analyze data and prepare MS Excel-based computer models to support a variety of financial and management studies under the direction of team members
- Projects may include financial planning, customer data and customer service, water consumption and non-metered service attributes analysis, revenue requirements, cost of service, capital recovery fees, rate and fee design, and financial feasibility studies
- Utilize public speaking and technical writing skills to produce, edit, and present reports, proposals, and presentations
- Other duties assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, engineering, economics, mathematics, or other related fields
- Strong Analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
- Experience analyzing large data sets, working with and/or developing Power BI, MS Access, and SQL database queries
- Strong computer skills, including MS Office Applications and modeling proficiency
- Written skills, including reporting of analytical results
- Oral communication skills, including presenting analytical results to clients or stakeholders
- Ability to solve complex problems
- Experience and/or interest in the utility industry or environmental science
- Master’s degree preferred

The salary range for the Consultant position is $78 to $104k. Compensation depends on education and experience.
