Accountant – Finance & Accounts
Role OverviewWe are looking for an Accountant / Senior Accountant to support the India entity finance functions.The role will involve monthly accounting, reconciliations, tax compliances and meeting otherregulatory requirements.₹12,00,000 - ₹14,00,000 a yearKey Responsibilities1.Accounting•Prepare and update the books of accounts on a timely basis•Reconcile GL balances and maintain proper documentation2.Taxation•Ensure timely calculation, payment, and filings for GST and corporate tax requirements•Maintaining proper tax documentation (Form 16A, challans, returns, etc.)•Coordinate with consultants3.Audit & Regulatory•Coordinate with auditors (statutory / tax / internal) for timely completion of audits•Maintain audit schedules, supporting documents, and respond to audit queries•Assist with corporate secretarial compliance and other regulatory filings4.Miscellaneous Support•Communicate with internal departments for resolving finance-related queries•Verifying vendor balances, preparing financials, updating compliance trackersKey Skills & Attributes•Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 1–3 years of relevant post-qualification experience•Strong understanding of Indian accounting standards, taxation, and statutory compliances•Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Netsuite•Detail-oriented, analytical, and strong communication skills•Self-motivated, proactive, and able to manage day-to-day finance tasks independentlyPreferred Background•Prior experience in mid to large-sized organizations preferably in IT / technology sector•Experience in accounting and tax is essential•Exposure to facing audits and tax assessments•Experience of transfer pricing will be an added advantageWe may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses.
