This role will be based onsite at our Headquarters in Austin, TX.
Atlas Energy is seeking a highly motivated Information Technology Intern to join our IT team. This role is ideal for a fast learner with a strong interest in Systems Administration, Networking, and Desktop Support. The intern will work closely with experienced Systems Administrators and gain hands-on exposure to enterprise IT environments while supporting day-to-day operations.
How You Will Make an Impact
- Assist Systems Administrators with daily operational and maintenance tasks
- Learn to provide desktop and end-user support in a professional enterprise environment
- Support various enterprise software applications and internal IT tools
- Assist with deployment, configuration, and tracking of IT assets
- Follow documented procedures and directions from senior IT staff
- Participate in troubleshooting basic hardware, software, and network issues
- Perform additional IT-related tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in an Information Technology–related field
- Preference for candidates pursuing a Computer Science degree with electives in Systems or Network Administration
- Demonstrated ability and eagerness to learn desktop support fundamentals
- Willingness to learn and support enterprise-level software and systems
- Ability to follow direction and work effectively in a structured environment
- Friendly, professional, and supportive attitude
- Strong work ethic and team-player mindset
- Willing and able to accept new tasks and challenges as assigned
