Company, a leading independent publisher of investment research, is seeking a Managing Editor to work directly under one of the company’s top financial entrepreneurs. In this role, you’ll help bring high-impact investment ideas to life by editing, refining, and occasionally writing content that informs, engages, and drives results.
This is a highly collaborative role at the intersection of editorial, copywriting, marketing, operations, and data. You’ll need to be both creative and organized. Someone who can zoom out to see the big picture while also managing the details that keep production running smoothly. The ability to pivot quickly and confidently in a fast-moving environment is essential.

Responsibilities:


  • Edit and refine high-impact articles, e-letters, and paid content, ensuring clarity, accuracy, voice consistency, and strong reader engagement
  • Collaborate closely with a senior financial entrepreneur, analysts, copywriters, and marketers to shape content from concept through publication
  • Write original editorial or marketing-adjacent content as needed
  • Coordinate across marketing, operations, design, video, and data teams to ensure timely and high-quality content delivery
  • Manage editorial workflows, timelines, and versioning across multiple projects and products
  • Use performance insights and feedback to continuously improve content and the reader experience
  • Maintain organization across fast-moving priorities while adapting quickly to shifting business needs

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree required; experience in editing, publishing, content management, journalism, or marketing
  • Strong writer and editor who can meaningfully elevate content
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Clear, effective communicator who collaborates well across teams
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
  • Proactive problem-solver with strong follow-through
  • Interest in financial markets and investing

Compensation Range –

$70,000 - $80,000 USD


Location(s) & Work Arrangement –

Hunt Valley, MD / Hybrid
