Job includes but is not limited to:
- Support all activities at El Espacio 23
- Serve as the first point of contact for vendors and visitors at El Espacio 23 full time from Tuesday – Saturday
- Provide some administrative support to the Art Department including but not limited to keeping catalogues and library inventory, record of book sales, attendance records
- Oversee nightly security guard schedule
- Coordination of all on site maintenance: cleaning services, landscaping and other maintenance services
- Provide any necessary assistance to Related Group Facilities Manager
- Responsible for opening the space and closing and securing it every night (Tuesday – Saturday)
- Assistance in coordinating and receiving all shipments (of artwork and anything else) at the space
- Responsible for inspecting artwork (assessing and documenting condition of crate and artwork) upon arrival
- Oversee art handlers or installation crew as needed
- Assist in the installation of artwork at El Espacio 23
- Assist in management of art inventory at El Espacio 23
- Be present and assist in all events at El Espacio 23
- Provide support and assistance to artists who are in residence at El Espacio 23
- Oversee the arrival and departure of all artists in residence:
- Conduct daily inspections of facility to ensure high standards of appearance, functionality and safety of space
- Other duties as assigned
