Description
Captivation Software is looking for a entry level software engineer who shall be responsible for the development, test, and deployment of production-ready software features and enhancements of mission applications deployed in an on-prem enclave and AWS Cloud environments.
Requirements
Security Clearance:
- Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizen
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus two (2) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
- Four (4) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
Required Skills:
- Experience using the Linux CLI and Linux tools
- Experience developing Bash/Python scripts to automate manual processes
- Software development experience with multiple programming languages such as C/C++, and Java
- Familiar with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools such as GitLab CI and Jenkins
- Experience with Git Source Control System
Desired Skills:
- Software development experience with Web Frameworks such as Vue, React, and Angular
- Experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Familiar with containerization technologies such as Docker, PodMan, containers
- Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)
- AWS Cloud experience

Benefits
- Annual Salary: $130,000 - $270,000 (Depends on the Years of Experience)
