Job Description
The Site Supervisor provides leadership, operational control, and supervision of all aspects of the contract. He or she makes proper use of resources to ensure full compliance with contractual obligations, ensures that the Customer’s expectations are exceeded, acts as the primary contact for the Customer, and is responsible for assisting with the managing of all Custodian and Leads. Proven operational skills with variable staff scheduling, quality assurance, training programs, employee motivation/morale, absenteeism control, labor relations, budget control, and performance accountability.
Must possess exceptional leadership skills, logistical planning, and computer skills. Demonstrated ability to function in ultra-fast paced, high-pressure environment. Excellent communication and client relations skills; follow-up and follow-through are critical elements in this position. Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines. Duties and Responsibilities
MAKE CERTAIN ADHERENCE TO GOLD STAR CUSTOMER SERVICE
Directly responsible for nightly cleaning. Ensures all nightly work is accomplished by cleaners.
- Identify the customer’s needs.
- Read and understand customer-company contracts.
- Communicating with employees your objective is to exceed expectations. Inspect nightly.
- Document and respond to all complaints immediately.
- Conduct site inspections with the customer at customer’s request.
- Meet customer and company budget requirements.
- Smart Inspect: Schedule, assign, inspect and follow up on completion of tasks.
- Create and maintain an accurate inventory of supplies and equipment.
- Communicate in writing with the customer daily. Communicate in person once/week.
Maintain an accurate inventory of uniforms. Ensure compliance with uniforms policy.
- Understand all work objectives, motivate employees, create incentives to improve measurable performance.
- Organize and monitor completion of daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly tasks in writing.
- Prevent customer reminders by ensuring tasks are completed in a timely fashion.
- Address emergency and special situations by maintaining a flexible cleaning schedule.
- Time management: cleaning as needed, including floor work.
- Time management: arrive on site one hour prior to staff’s arrival.
- Time management: workload labor and adjust/reassign when necessary.
- Read and understand Employee Handbook
- Read and understand Union Agreement
- Identify employee needs and convey to Operations Manager.
- Transfer unresolved employee issues to Operations Manager.
- Discipline employees through written correspondence and relay information to Operations Manager.
- Log complaints and their resolution. Report weekly to Operations Manager
- Solve problems effectively.
- Train Employees on how to log on to E-time for time keeping on Employee timecards
- Answer or escalate all payroll inquiries. Submit accurate and timely payroll.
- Invoices of budget hours audit payroll
- Delegate tasks to appropriate employees or assistant supervisors.
- Train and re-train employees
- Interview applicants for any opening position at Job Site
- Attend HR training through HQ or Operations Manager
- Atten Union Grievance and Unemployment Hearing
- Identify new cleaning opportunities within the account.
