To accompany our high ambition for growth, Malt is looking for a Deal Optimization Manager. Joining the Commercial Enablement department, your mission is to maximize business success while safeguarding deal profitability and operational feasibility.You will provide the framework needed to structure winning sustainable deals and act as a trusted global partner across the full commercial lifecycle.
Key responsibilities âš
- Lead the overall Deal Governance framework, including the revisit of Commercial Guidelines and Go/No Go criteria.
- Identify, define and implement commercial guardrails in partnership with other functions (legal, finance, product and operations).
- Establish and animate weekly Deal Desk forums to provide high-touch partnership for complex, large-scale negotiations.
- Optimize deal structures to maximize win rates on new logos and retention rates on client renewals.
- Bridge the gap between Commercial and other departments (Product, Ops, Finance) to ensure all commitments are executable.
- Monitor deal intelligence by establishing an operating model based on win/loss data and commercial feedback.
- Implement business and finance approval flows within Salesforce to ensure improved deal governance.
About you đ§âđ
- Commercial Acumen: Strong understanding of deal structuring and pricing optimization in a B2B environment. Â
- Relevant experience (minimum 5 years): Proven track record in deal governance, commercial finance, or sales operations. Â
- Fluent English is mandatory, as this role requires aligning global standards across all Malt territories. French is a plus.
- Diplomatic Influencer: Ability to connect cross-functionally and reach win-win outcomes through diplomatic disagreement. Â
- Analytical Mindset: Comfortable using data to provide "Voice of Commercial" insights to other functions. Â
