Job Description
As a Marketing and Communications Designer, your role sits at the intersection of graphic and visual design, copywriting, and psychology. Your goal is to make every American want to become an Aven customer. You’ll be at the heart of bringing creative ideas to life, both strategically and visually, working closely with the product and growth teams. We’re looking for a fast thinker with exceptional visual communication and copywriting skills, paired with a strong analytical mindset.
Responsibilities:
- Art direct and design (hands-on) innovative experiences across several mediums, including the web, print, ads, direct mail, billboards, social, events, etc.
- Collaborate at an incredibly fast pace with our growth and product teams to develop powerful acquisition campaigns and strategies
- Embody precision and craft. Hold the quality bar incredibly high
- Create powerful copy and content strategies
- Pull insights from analytics and translate them into new campaigns/concepts
Qualification:
You have:
- 4+ years of experience working in design, advertising, freelance, or a related field
- Experience designing across multiple mediums (web, print, mobile)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Effectively communicate your reasoning behind ideas and decisions
- Expertise in typography, composition, layout, and design thinking, and design tools (Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
- Want to work in a fast-paced startup environment
