The Logistics Coordinator supports daily dispatch, reporting, and documentation across multiple regions to ensure continuity of operations and service level performance. This role is based at the Kansas City Hub and provides centralized dispatch coverage, end-of-day reporting, and claims-support documentation for designated locations.
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM; weekends as required
Pay:
$23-$25/hr based on experience
Essential Job Duties
- Dispatch outbound vehicle movements from Kansas City, Denver, and California locations
- Provide dispatch and operational support for additional locations as needed, including Indiana, Michigan, Georgia, Delaware, Pennsylvania, New York, and New Jersey
- Monitor daily activity to ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs)
- Prepare, analyze, and maintain End-of-Day (EOD) operational reports for assigned locations
- Assist with EOD reporting for additional sites during coverage gaps or high-volume periods
- Maintain accurate and organized Bill of Lading (BOL) records to support claims, audits, and investigations
- Support the claims process by ensuring required documentation is complete and readily available
- Utilize Microsoft Excel to track volume, performance, and exceptions
- Communicate effectively with drivers, dispatch teams, and internal stakeholders
- Provide coverage during PTO, weekends, and peak operational periods as required
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, dispatch, or supply chain operations preferred
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple locations and priorities simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience supporting multi-state or multi-region logistics operations
- Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS) and reporting dashboards
- Experience maintaining documentation for claims or compliance purposes
- Experience in OEM, vehicle logistics, or yard operations environments
