Human Interest is on a mission to ensure every worker has a path to financial independence. We’re making retirement plans affordable for SMBs, and we need a Field Marketing Coordinator to help us keep the engine running.Are you early in your career and looking for a "front-row seat" at a high-growth tech unicorn? About the team
The events marketing team is responsible for planning and executing events for the entire company. The majority of events are partner events, along with industry events and some internal events. There are ~150 events/year and growing.
What you get to do every day
Logistics & Asset Management
- Mission Control for Field Assets: Serve as the primary point of contact for our warehouse facilities (E3). You will own the end-to-end tracking, shipping, and timely return of all booth properties and event assets, ensuring the team has what they need, when they need it.
- Swag & Collateral Command: Manage inventory levels and fulfillment for all company swag and field requests (such as business cards). You’ll proactively track stock and handle replenishment so our brand presence never misses a beat.
Operational & Financial Support
- Reporting & Financial Hygiene: Act as the backbone for end-of-month reporting. You will lead the charge in collecting receipts, reconciling team expenses, and organizing data to ensure our marketing spend is accurate and transparent.
- Contract & Invoice Orchestration: Facilitate the end-to-end contract and invoice process for the Field and Event Marketing teams. You’ll be the "process owner" who identifies bottlenecks in legal or procurement and pushes tasks across the finish line.
Field & Team Enablement
- PAM (Partner Account Manager) Support: Serve as the dedicated support lead for our PAMs to bring their local events to life. This includes sourcing and booking venues, coordinating food and beverage, and managing custom logistics.
- Startup Agility: As a key member of a high-growth team, you will tackle various administrative projects and "special missions" as they arise, providing the flexible support necessary to help the organization scale.
What you bring to the role
- 2–3 Years of Relevant Experience: You’ve spent a few years in marketing, project coordination, or event logistics and are ready to apply those skills at a high-growth tech unicorn.
- Logistics Mastery: Proven experience managing concurrent projects or event efforts, with a knack for keeping track of the "tiny details" that make or break a program.
- High-Growth Mindset: You thrive in fast-paced environments where change is the only constant. You have a bias toward action and are comfortable "figuring it out" as you go.
- Operational Excellence: Extreme attention to detail and highly organized. You’re the person who ensures the booth arrives on time, the swag is in stock, and the receipts are reconciled.
- Professional Communication: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; you can hold your own when speaking with vendors, partners, and internal leadership.
- Collaborative & Independent: You are a reliable team player who can also be trusted to run with a project independently from start to finish.
- Tech Proficiency: High comfort level with modern workplace tools (G-Suite, Slack, Salesforce). Familiarity with Smartsheet or similar project management platforms is a strong plus.

Compensation - At Human Interest, there are a number of factors that are used to determine the appropriate pay range for each position. We take into account the cost of labor for each position in various markets across the U.S. The base salary for this position spans $33.65- $36.10 per hourand represents the minimum in our lowest geographic region to a maximumin our highest geographic region. The salary we offer to a new employee within this range is based on their location within the U.S., their relevant job-related skills, and experience.
At Human Interest, base salary is one component of the overall total rewards package. Depending on the position, additional compensation components such as bonuses, commissions, and equity may be offered.
