Our platform is built to improve quality, transparency, and efficiency while preserving clinical autonomy.We are seeking a Director of Marketing to help shape how Incisive is positioned in the market and how our members experience the value of the platform.
This is a senior individual contributor and future people leader who blends product marketing, brand strategy, and generalist marketing capabilities. The role is not centered on high-volume demand generation. Instead, it focuses on developing clear positioning, compelling product narratives, and engagement strategies that resonate with clinical and operational leaders in dentistry.
What You’ll Do:
- Own the evolution of Incisive’s messaging and value propositions across key segments, including private practices, DSOs, and dental schools.
- Translate complex product capabilities into simple, credible stories about outcomes for practices, including improved quality, better workflows, stronger patient engagement, and smarter economics.
- Partner closely with product, sales, and customer success to support product launches, pilots, and go-to-market initiatives, ensuring alignment from strategy through execution.
- Design and drive user engagement and lifecycle marketing that supports onboarding, adoption, education, and customer retention.
- Shape content strategy and oversee the development of web content, case studies, video, and educational assets that build trust, demonstrate value, and reinforce Incisive’s differentiation.
- Lead market and customer research, competitive analysis, and voice-of-customer efforts, turning insights into clear recommendations that influence both marketing strategy and product direction.
- As Incisive grows, you will help build and mentor a small, high-impact marketing team and establish the foundational frameworks, processes, and standards for a product-focused marketing function.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Brings 6 to 9 years of experience in product marketing, brand strategy, or a generalist marketing role within a product-driven organization.
- Has hands-on experience owning positioning and messaging, collaborating closely with product and cross-functional partners, and operating effectively in a remote environment.
- Has preferably worked in healthcare, dental, or clinical environments.
- Previously led or mentored small teams; this role will grow into a people leadership position.
- Is a strategic thinker who can zoom out to define narrative and positioning, then zoom in to execute with high quality.
- Is comfortable with ambiguity, energized by building from scratch, and motivated by creating marketing that drives real product understanding and user impact rather than vanity metrics.
