Compensation:
$24.95 - $28.07/ hr.

8:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday (Onsite)
General Summary:
Under the direction of the supervisor, Payroll Reporting, this role provides essential support for daily employer reporting functions and helps ensure the accuracy of both member and employer accounts. Responsibilities include processing payroll reports, annual reports and conducting routine reconciliations, addressing standard account concerns, and delivering excellent customer service to employers participating in the State Teachers Retirement System of Ohio (STRS Ohio).
Summary of Responsibilities:
- Assist in building and maintaining positive working relationships with assigned reporting employers by responding to routine reporting questions.
- Process employer payroll reports and verify contribution data for accuracy and completeness.
- Perform routine account corrections and assist with prior-year adjustments under supervisor guidance.
- Support reconciliation of defined contribution accounts to and from the third‑party administrator, including verifying refunds and ensuring account closures follow established procedures.
- Assist in monitoring fund transfers to the custodial institution and perform basic audits as directed.
- Monitor contribution totals and assist with tracking 401(a) and 415 compensation limits.

- Associate degree in business, finance or related field required.
- Experience in tax or pension plans preferred.

- Interpersonal skills necessary to deal effectively and courteously with internal and external contacts required.
