The Warehouse/Production Associate is responsible for accurately processing outgoing gasket and bolt shipments and receiving incoming materials. This role supports daily warehouse and production operations by pulling, packing, and shipping orders, operating forklifts and production equipment, and ensuring a clean, organized and safe environment.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Pull, pack, and ship gaskets, stud bolts, and related materials in accordance with customer and work order requirements.
- Operate forklifts, saws, gasket making equipment, and other warehouse tools safely and efficiently.
- Receive and process inbound shipments, including UPS, FedEx, transfers, and other freight.
- Verify product specifications (length, diameter, and material) against pick customer orders prior to packaging.
- Stock and organize inventory in designed warehouse locations, assist with daily inventory maintenance.
- Assemble boxes, palletize orders, and stage shipments for outgoing freights.
- Load outbound trucks and ensure shipments are prepared for on-time delivery.
- Maintain an organized Will Call area and ensure accuracy of staged orders.
- Label each line item with the appropriate box number and ensure labels correspond with packaged materials.
- Notify sales of any material shortages or discrepancies affecting customer orders.
- Monitor propane tank levels and coordinate refills with supervision as needed.
- Cross train on all warehouse and production functions as required.
- Maintain a clean, orderly work area, including proper disposal of packaging material.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Education
- Required: High school diploma or GED
Work Experience
- Preferred: 1 year of warehouse, shipping, or production experience.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, climb, bend, stoop, push/pull.
- Continuous standing and/or walking.
- Ability to work frequently with weight of 10 – 50 lbs. and must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. independently.
- Ability to work in varying environmental conditions including cold, hot, dusty, and noisy settings.
