The Principal Engineer at Reveleer is a key technical leader responsible for setting engineering direction, guiding architectural decisions, and mentoring teams to deliver scalable, high-quality software solutions. This role plays a critical part in driving technical excellence and ensuring that Reveleer's platform remains robust, secure, and adaptable to evolving business needs. The role will be instrumental in shaping the engineering culture, improving system performance, and driving modernization efforts.
Without strong technical leadership, teams risk inefficiencies, misaligned architectural decisions, and technical debt that hinders growth. Your expertise will accelerate innovation, improve development velocity, and ensure the platform scales effectively.
What Success Looks Like
- Writes and owns production code and system designs for core systems, ensuring they meet business needs and scale over time.
- Establishes and reinforces strong software engineering practices, including testing, security, performance optimization, and operational readiness.
- Improves code quality, reliability, and maintainability through technical leadership, code reviews, and mentorship.
- Increases engineering velocity through pragmatic process improvements, automation, and responsible use of AI-assisted development.
- Drives alignment between product intent, technical execution, and business outcomes through effective cross-functional collaboration.
What You Will Do
- Lead and execute hands-on development across critical areas of the Reveleer platform, with a strong focus on Clinical Intelligence.
- Own architecture and system design for complex initiatives, driving projects end to end from concept through production and operational support.
- Apply AI and automation where appropriate to improve developer productivity, system reliability, and operational efficiency.
- Act as a technical multiplier by mentoring engineers through design reviews, code reviews, and day-to-day technical guidance.
- Design and build scalable, secure, and high-performance systems while actively identifying and reducing technical debt.
- Partner with product and engineering leadership to shape and execute technology roadmaps, translating business needs into durable technical solutions.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- Deep expertise in designing scalable, distributed systems and cloud architectures.
- Demonstrated depth and expertise in designing and implementing robust solutions using C#, .NET, Java and SQL Server, with a strong understanding of best practices for scalable, secure, and high-performance applications.
- A strong track record of leading complex technical projects from concept to production.
- Ability to partner and collaborate with Product Management, peers, and stakeholders.
- Ability to mentor and influence engineering teams to drive best practices.
- Passion for solving hard technical problems and building high-quality software
- Healthcare background, is preferred but not required.
