Jeppesen ForeFlight is hiring a Sr. Manager to lead our global Trip Planning Services team. This role is responsible for leading our 24x7x365 operations team including Trip Planners, Flight Planners, Vendor Relations Specialists and Team Leads. The role will also be responsible for coaching and mentoring of all levels of staff and existing Managers. Jeppesen ForeFlight’s Trip Planning team enjoys a strong legacy that began 47 years ago and has since emerged as a globally recognized leader for excellence in supporting all types of flight operations. A successful candidate is expected to embrace this legacy while leading us toward a future that will leverage the excellence of our people combined with advanced technology and data insights to deliver fantastic results for our customers. The current team consists of 50+ professionals that support 20,000 annual flight operations worldwide. We have experienced tremendous growth over the past 5 years thus we are seeking the next leader to build upon this success.

This position is U.S. remote with the option to work onsite in Englewood CO or Austin TX.

Basic Qualifications:
10 years of experience working in global flight operations including trip planning and or flight dispatch.5 years of experience leading teams while having direct report oversight.U.S. citizen capable of supporting U.S. DoD and other U.S. government contracts.10% travel
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience from a customer’s perspective including having worked as a pilot or flight dispatcher or within an aviation operations environment.College degree in aviation technology, aviation management or related field of study.Experience working with a variety of mission types, including: part 91, part 135, part 121 and Military operations.
