About the Role
Jeppesen ForeFlight is seeking an experienced Global Finance T&E Program Manager to own and evolve our global Travel & Expense (T&E) ecosystem. This role will be responsible for both day-to-day global program operations and strategic modernization of our T&E environment as we scale across regions. This role can be remote or in Austin, TX, Denver, CO A critical near-term priority for this role is leading the global evaluation, consolidation, and implementation of a single enterprise T&E platform.
Today, we operate across multiple systems (Concur and Ramp), and we are seeking a leader who has hands-on experience driving global system selection, configuration, policy alignment, compliance controls, and change management, whether consolidating into an existing platform or implementing a new solution (e.g., Brex or similar).This is a hands-on, highly cross-functional role that blends operational excellence, systems expertise, global compliance rigor, and program leadership. The ideal candidate is comfortable building structure where it does not yet exist, navigating regional complexity, and owning outcomes at scale.
Key Responsibilities
Global T&E Program Ownership
- Own the end-to-end global Travel & Expense program, including employee reimbursements, corporate card programs, travel booking, expense audits, approvals, and reporting across multiple countries and regions.
- Serve as the company’s global subject matter expert on T&E program design, regional best practices, and scalable operating models.
- Balance global standardization with regional flexibility to support local requirements while maintaining strong governance and consistency.
- Drive continuous improvement to enhance the employee experience globally while maintaining financial and compliance rigor.
- Serve as an escalation point for complex or sensitive global T&E issues and exceptions.
- Develop regionally appropriate training materials, guides, and self-service resources.
- Lead global change management, communications, and training for system transitions, policy updates, and new processes.
Global Systems Strategy, Consolidation & Implementation
- Lead the global evaluation and consolidation of existing T&E systems (currently Concur and Ramp) into a single, globally scalable platform.
- Define global and regional requirements, ensuring support for:
- Multiple currencies
- Local tax and reimbursement rules
- Regional approval workflows
- Country-specific policy nuances
- Partner with Finance, Accounting, IT, Procurement, HR, and regional business leaders to:
- Evaluate global vendors and capabilities
- Lead RFPs and vendor selection (as needed)
- Build global rollout and migration plans by region
- Configure policies, workflows, approval hierarchies, and controls
- Oversee phased regional deployments, testing, and post-launch optimization
- Own ongoing system administration and governance, including global policy configuration, integrations, reporting, and audit controls.
- Act as the primary point of contact for T&E system vendors and global implementation partners.
Global Policy & Compliance
- Own the creation, rollout, and ongoing governance of global T&E policies, including travel, meals & entertainment, reimbursements, and corporate card usage.
- Ensure compliance with:
- IRS and local tax regulations
- Global audit and internal control standards
- SOX controls (as applicable)
- Country-specific reimbursement and labor regulations
- Develop and maintain regionally compliant processes for international reimbursements, including VAT/GST recovery, per diem rules, and documentation standards.
- Partner with Legal, HR, Payroll, and Internal Audit to ensure policies are clear, defensible, and consistently enforced across geographies.
- Ensure proper documentation, approvals, and retention standards are met in accordance with local regulations.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to spend, fraud, policy non-compliance, and system gaps across regions.
Basic Qualifications
Required:
- 6+ years of experience managing global Travel & Expense programs, expense operations, or corporate spend management
- Direct, hands-on experience with global T&E platforms such as Concur, Ramp, Brex, or similar including implementation experience
- Proven experience leading multi-country system implementations, migrations, or consolidations
- Strong understanding of global expense compliance, tax considerations, and internal controls
- Experience partnering cross-functionally and influencing stakeholders across regions and time zones
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Preferred:
- Experience supporting a global, multi-entity organization
- Familiarity with SOX controls and audit readiness in an international context
- Experience designing or scaling global T&E programs from the ground up
- Background in Finance, Accounting, Operations, or a related discipline
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree
- Pilot or aviation enthusiast
