Job Description


We are seeking an enthusiastic IT Intern to support our internal IT operations. This role is ideal for someone beginning their IT career and eager to gain hands-on experience in IT administration, end‑user support, and device configuration. The intern will work closely with our IT Manager and the IT team to ensure smooth daily operations. The position is for a mandatory unpaid internship. The schedule and total number of hours will be agreed upon with the intern prior to hiring.

Qualifications


Key Responsibilities


IT Support & Device Management


  • Assist with laptop setup, configuration, and reimaging (Windows/macOS depending on need).
  • Support installation and updates of required software and security tools.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting of hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Help manage IT equipment inventory (laptops, accessories, peripherals).

Administrative & Operational Tasks


  • Provide support to the IT Manager with routine IT admin tasks.
  • Help maintain internal documentation, including setup guides, asset logs, and configuration checklists.
  • Assist with user onboarding and offboarding tasks (account creation, access revocation, device preparation).
  • Support ticket tracking and updates when needed.

Office‑Based Tasks (Occasional)


  • Manage physical hardware tasks such as laptop swaps, cable organization, and workstation setup.
  • Support network or infrastructure checks as guided by the IT Manager.

Requirements


Technical Skills (Preferred but not mandatory)


  • Basic understanding of computer hardware and operating systems.
  • Familiarity with laptop configuration and standard applications.
  • Interest in IT support, systems, and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID and Office 365.
  • Advanced English.

Soft Skills


  • Strong willingness to learn and ask questions.
  • Good organization and attention to detail.
  • Clear communication and collaborative mindset.
