The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader responsible for overseeing electrical construction activities on site within our Automation Solutions, I&E Construction Services, Power Generation, and Packaged Equipment projects. This role ensures projects are executed safely, on schedule, and meet quality standards.Requirements
- Supervise and coordinate daily electrical construction activities on job sites, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
- Lead, mentor, and manage electrical crews, subcontractors, and field personnel to maintain productivity and quality.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other trades to resolve issues and ensure smooth project execution.
- Enforce safety protocols and conduct regular safety meetings and inspections.
- Monitor progress, track labor and materials usage, and report status to management.
- Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to avoid delays or rework.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and client requirements.
- Assist with project documentation, including daily reports, timesheets, and quality records.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Extensive knowledge of electrical construction methods, codes, and safety standards.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize under pressure.
- Familiarity with project management and scheduling tools.
Required Experience & Education
- Minimum of 7+ years of electrical construction experience, including 3+ years in a supervisory or superintendent role.
- High School Diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred.
- Experience in energy, industrial, or construction environments highly preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, squat, crawl, and climb ladders and scaffolds for extended periods.
- Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights.
- Ability to move over uneven terrain and in cluttered environments.
