SummaryThe Jr. Client Business Specialist supports a Federal Business Development Manager serving as the end-to-end point of contact for sales execution. This role is responsible for managing sales transactions from quote to cash while supporting Federal Sellers with a customer-first mindset. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.Key ResponsibilitiesSales Operations

  • Strategically partner with the Federal Sales team and internal stakeholders to design and quote IT solutions aligned to client needs
  • Manage the full sales order lifecycle from quote to cash, including:
  • Navigating complex deal registration and ordering processes across OEMs and distributors
  • Quote creation, purchase order management, returns, delivery coordination, and pipeline forecasting verification
  • Exercise discretion in determining optimal pricing and vendor options based on manufacturer promotions; collaborate closely with Sales Reps on pricing strategy
  • Track and monitor product and software warranty expirations and renewals
  • Manage cloud licensing by reviewing usage reports and invoices for accurate processing
  • Support reporting, special projects, and ad hoc requests from Sales Reps and management

Customer Success

  • Build and maintain strong internal and external relationships across cross-functional teams
  • Develop a working understanding of client preferences and vendor requirements to ensure seamless customer experience
  • Organized, proactive, and detail-oriented with a strong desire to follow through and support sales success

Project Management

  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities at different stages of the sales cycle with guidance and support
  • Route and assist with quoting requests for Professional Services and Managed Services
  • Support services order setup and billing requirements

Position Requirements

  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Ability to pivot and reprioritize tasks throughout the day based on evolving business needs
  • Desire to learn and grow knowledge of IT products and services
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook and Excel
  • Excellent communication and customer relationship skills

Education & Experience

  • Some college coursework and/or business courses preferred
  • Experience in supply chain or sales operations strongly preferred
  • Prior experience at a technology company is a significant plus

Work Conditions

  • Traditional business hours with flexibility required during peak periods
  • Hybrid role, in-office collaboration is encouraged
  • Computer-based position requiring extended periods of sitting and participation in virtual meetings
  • Ability to operate standard computer equipment, including keyboard, mouse, and related devices
