About Us

The financial advisory industry is a $80T market in the US, but has seen little technological innovation compared to the self-service market (Robinhood, Betterment, Wealthfront, SoFi). Client data management is a universally painful and expensive problem for financial advisors. Today, advisors manually collect, update, and utilize client data across the 7-10 software tools that they use to run their business. Data transcription and translation across systems is time-consuming and error-prone, leading to costly inefficiencies and embarrassing client-facing problems.

Managing data access control, audit logs, and compliance is a constant challenge, particularly in larger organizations. We are building the first wealth tech data orchestration company. We sync client data across a financial advisor's tech stack, unlocking the efficiency of a fully-integrated software suite with the choice of tools that best fit their business. We are laser-focused on enabling the best technology experiences for advisors and unlocking the potential of the entire wealth tech software ecosystem. We’re an experienced team of start-up operators with deep roots in both tech and advisory.

Role Details

Role overview:

We're looking for a staff frontend engineer to own our most complex frontend challenges and set the technical direction for our customer-facing interface. You'll drive architectural decisions, tackle sophisticated UI problems across data collection and workflow interfaces, and help elevate frontend engineering practices across the team. This role offers significant ownership and influence as we scale to serve our enterprise customers.

Where you'll make an impact:

  • Define and drive the frontend architectural strategy across our platform, establishing patterns, standards, and best practices that enable the team to build high-quality, scalable user experiences.
  • Lead critical quality and reliability initiatives to address customer-facing issues and ensure our data collection, reporting, and workflow interfaces meet enterprise standards.
  • Own complex, high-impact frontend projects end-to-end, including data reconciliation workflows, multi-step onboarding experiences, and sophisticated data visualization interfaces.
  • Establish and evolve our design system, component architecture, and frontend infrastructure to improve consistency, reusability, and development velocity across teams.
  • Mentor and level up frontend engineers across the organization, conducting code reviews, pairing on challenging problems, and establishing a culture of frontend excellence.
  • Partner with Engineering Managers, Product, and Design leadership to shape technical roadmap decisions, identify quality investments, and advocate for frontend needs in architectural discussions.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of frontend engineering experience with a proven track record of leading frontend architecture and driving quality improvements at scale.
  • Expert-level knowledge of modern frontend technologies (React strongly preferred), with deep understanding of performance optimization, state management, component design, and web platform fundamentals.
  • Experience optimizing frontend performance in data-intensive applications, including rendering large datasets, managing complex state, or building responsive interfaces under performance constraints.
  • Demonstrated experience establishing frontend standards, patterns, and best practices that improved team velocity and product quality across an organization.
  • Strong technical leadership skills with experience mentoring engineers, conducting impactful code reviews, and raising the technical bar of a team.
  • Track record of identifying and driving quality and reliability initiatives that had measurable impact on customer experience or business outcomes.
  • Excellent cross-functional communication and collaboration skills - you can influence technical decisions across engineering, product, and design leadership.
  • Product mindset with deep customer empathy - you connect technical decisions to customer value and business impact.

You'll stand out if you have:

  • Experience in fintech, financial services, or other domains where data accuracy, reliability, and user trust are paramount.
  • Track record of building or significantly improving design systems and component libraries used across multiple teams.
  • Experience at high-growth startups where you established frontend practices and architecture during periods of rapid scaling.
  • Thought leadership in the frontend community through blog posts, conference talks, open source contributions, or technical writing.
  • Experience with complex data-heavy interfaces, data visualization, or multi-step workflow UIs.
  • Interest and expertise in applying AI/LLM tools to improve frontend development workflows and enable the team to work more effectively.

Our tech stack:

React, TypeScript, MUI, React Query, Vite, Storybook, Playwright
