We're looking for a DevOps/Platform Engineer Intern who will be responsible for building and maintaining the infrastructure that powers our platform. This role is for someone who is technically curious, systems-oriented, and passionate about automation and reliability—someone who understands that great products are built on rock-solid foundations. Your team:
As part of our Platform Team, you'll work alongside Engineers who are collectively responsible for building and maintaining our core infrastructure. This cross-functional team handles everything from cloud infrastructure to deployment pipelines, ensuring our platform is reliable, scalable, and operates efficiently around the clock.
Your day-to-day responsibilities:
- Infrastructure as Code: Help build and maintain infrastructure using tools like Terraform, ensuring our environments are reproducible and version-controlled.
- CI/CD Pipeline Development: Implement, and improve continuous integration and deployment pipelines to accelerate our development workflow.
- Containerization & Orchestration: Work with Docker and Kubernetes to containerize applications and manage deployments at scale.
- Monitoring & Observability: Set up and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure platform health and rapid incident response.
- Cloud Infrastructure Management: Assist in managing and optimizing our cloud resources (AWS/GCP) for performance, cost, and security.
- Automation & Scripting: Write scripts and tools to automate repetitive tasks and improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborative Problem-Solving: Work with engineers to troubleshoot infrastructure or application related issues and implement solutions.
Your ideal profile:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related technical field.
- Intermediate level of English language skills.
- Basic knowledge of programming or scripting languages (Javascript, Typescript, Bash, or Go preferred).
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems and command-line tools.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS).
- Eagerness to learn cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and infrastructure tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform), having hands-on experience is a plus.
- Basic understanding of security practices.
- Basic understanding of version control systems (Git) and CI/CD concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
