B2B Demand Generation Marketing Manager (HubSpot)


Location/Type:

Remote (U.S.) • Quarterly travel for on-sites/events

Pay:$85,000–$135,000 base

Role Snapshot


  • First dedicated marketing hire
  • Player-coach, department of one (for now)
  • Build top-of-funnel demand for a complex B2B SaaS product
  • Long sales cycles. Regulated industries. High trust required.

What you’ll do


  • Build and run the marketing strategy from scratch
  • Drive top-of-funnel MQLs for Sales
  • Launch and manage email, outbound, and digital campaigns
  • Set up MQL definitions, tracking, and reporting in HubSpot
  • Partner with Sales on handoff, follow-up, pipeline quality
  • Own brand voice, messaging, and positioning
  • Manage outsourced marketing vendors and hold them accountable

Must-haves


  • 5+ years B2B marketing experience
  • Proven demand gen and lead creation ownership
  • Hands-on with HubSpot or similar CRM/automation tools
  • Experience as a department of one or early marketing hire
  • Comfortable in ambiguity; self-directed operator

Nice to have


  • SaaS experience
  • Regulated industry exposure (energy, compliance, healthcare, gov)
  • Long sales-cycle marketing experience
