Jeppesen Foreflight is seeking a Manager - Professional Services, Crew & Network Operations to lead a team of highly skilled professionals. This role, based in Bangalore, will report to the Senior Manager, Professional Services, Crew & Network Operations, India.The Professional Services Team within Crew & Network Operations team is responsible for the configuration and delivery of our Airline Operations and Resource Planning solutions to commercial airline customers, as well as postproduction changes in the configuration layer.

Position Responsibilities:
- Oversee project/program on-time delivery, profitability, and customer value. Ensures project teams are executing as planned by monitoring high-level progress and major deliveries. Determine options and appropriate actions to ensure and improve project performance. Defines project or program setup and strategy, identifies resource requirements and constraints for projects, approves estimates and develops high-level integrated project plans including critical path. Supports sales team in contract negotiations ensuring customer commitments are realistic.
- Lead, coach, and mentor a team, providing developmental opportunities to enhance employee performance and expand capabilities.
- Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
- Maintain a positive, results oriented work environment, building partnerships with direct reports, local and regional teams, and across the global organization.
- Coordinate training opportunities for the team with the training department (e.g. schedules, facilities, materials), and activities related to career development and knowledge sharing sessions
- Work with local team and regional and global colleagues to continuously review lessons learned, identify process improvements, and implement best practices.
- Collaborate with regional leadership to plan, manage, prioritize, and optimize resources to achieve organizational goals and objectives. Make hiring decisions.
- Possess the ability to accomplish results through employees who exercise significant latitude and independence in their assignments. Actively involved in daily operations only when required to meet schedule or resolve complex problems.
- Demonstrate a commitment to personal learning and development. Seeking feedback and proactively improving skills and knowledge.

- Possess strong analytical skills, including the ability to collect, organize, synthesize, and analyze data to develop conclusions and recommendations.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Experience in the aviation industry.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a project or program management leadership role
- Minimum of 5 years of experience leading a team as a direct supervisor.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in complex software project/program management implementation, configuration and delivery, using agile development methodology.
- Minimum 5 years working with external corporate customers.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English.
- Ability to travel 20% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, other technical computing or business discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
