This role requires a highly motivated individual driven to provide top-of-the-line quality in their daily work.
Key Job Elements
- Conduct daily cycle counts and prepare count reports.
- Verify variances, update the inventory system, and perform root cause analysis on discrepancies.
- Provide timely material counts for out-of-cycle requests.
- Coordinate with other departments to research and correct inventory issues.
- Support inventory-related tasks including receiving, stocking, picking, assembly, and shipping.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate or advanced degree preferred.
- Experience with cycle counting, shipping/receiving, stock control, inventory, and recordkeeping functions.
- Inventory optimization experience preferred.
- Experience with MRP/ERP systems; JDE preferred.
- Effective communication skills with leadership and multiple departments.
- Strong attention to detail and work ethic.
- Ability to maintain quality and safety standards.
- Proficiency in counting, tracking, and distributing materials and equipment.
- Knowledge of light equipment operation and maintenance.
- Ability to lift and manipulate heavy objects.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to report findings effectively.
- MRP/ERP systems; JDE preferred.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
