This job is 100% onsite in Austin, TX3 month contract to start so our client is only considering local candidates.
We’re seeking a senior-level Business Analyst with strong quality assurance experience to support enterprise applications, including licensing-focused systems. This role works closely with business users, technical teams, and vendors to define requirements, improve processes, and ensure high-quality system delivery.
What You’ll Do
- Gather and document business and system requirements and translate them into clear user stories
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and lead refinement and sprint planning sessions
- Perform QA activities, including reviewing acceptance criteria, developing test cases, and executing manual testing (including mobile)
- Analyze application issues and recommend solutions
- Identify opportunities to improve or automate business processes
- Support project documentation such as charters, plans, test artifacts, and risk items
- Develop training materials and assist with user training
- Collaborate with vendors and stakeholders to support system delivery and ongoing operations
What We’re Looking For
- 8+ years of experience in business analysis within an Agile environment
- Strong experience with tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar
- Hands-on QA experience, including user story validation and manual testing
- Experience supporting licensing or regulatory systems is a plus
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with end users and technical teams
