2ndWave LLC (2ndWave) is seeking interested candidates with experience in Federal grants management business processes and systems, with an emphasis on process improvement, modernization, and transformation.
Responsibilities:
- Capturing Requirements: Assist the team including client subject matter experts by liaising amongst these groups on as needed basis to document and clarify business and technical requirements.
- Business Process Harmonization: Promote and manage business process harmonization between legacy and to-be processes.
- Analysis of Alternatives (AoA): Provide support for an AoA where needed and make recommendations for reaching consensus or decision on alternative selection.
- Fit-Gap Analysis: Keep activities aligned with the Fit-Gap Analysis developed for the modernized systems.
- Business Process Roles: Map roles from legacy to new environment and develop transition plan.
- Reporting Needs: Assist clients in meeting their reporting needs via the modernized system’s reporting capabilities and modules.
Required Qualifications:
- Understanding of and experience with the Federal grants management business process, for both formula and discretionary grants, from the Federal grantor perspective
- Understanding of and experience with Federal grants management systems and interfaces
- Experience working with clients through business process and systems transformation and modernization
- BS/BA in Business or Information Technology and 10 years of experience
Desired Qualifications:
- Understanding of and experience with grants accounting, including commitments, obligations, payments, refunds, and de-obligations
- Understanding of and experience with grants system interfaces
