Position Details:


As a Neurobehavioral Analyst at the Autism Center, you will work on National Institute of Health (NIH)-funded projects and other studies investigating the neural traits and their association with behavioral and cognitive traits in children on the autism spectrum and/or those experiencing other neurodevelopmental conditions such as ADHD. You will manage data quality control, analysis, and data collection using multiple methods such as MRI, EEG, physiological measures, and cognitive tasks. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to write peer-reviewed publications.This is a full-time, exempt hybrid position (minimum of 4 days in office per week) located in our Midtown, New York office.

You Will:


  • Implement quality assurance protocols for behavioral data structuring, harmonization, and preprocessing, making updates in collaboration with the Principal Investigator (PI) and Postdoctoral Research Fellows.
  • Acquire and implement new statistical methods for analyzing neuroimaging, behavioral, and related data.
  • Develop graphs, reports, and summary presentations to effectively communicate project results.
  • Conduct scientific literature reviews under the guidance of the PI and Postdoctoral Fellows.
  • Attend and contribute to team meetings through presentations and discussions.
  • Help Prepare peer-reviewed manuscript submissions for publication.
  • Support the collection of imaging, physiological, and behavioral data at designated facilities for assigned studies.
  • Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.

You Have:


  • Bachelors degree in Biomedical engineering, Neuroscience, Psychology or other related scientific fields.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g.,python and or R).
  • Familiarity with neuroimaging techniques (fMRI, EEG, etc).
  • Prior clinical and/or research experience in mental health, neurodevelopment and/or language, or autism or related developmental conditions.
  • Organizational skills: Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities.
  • Problem-solving: Ability to anticipate challenges and offer solutions.
  • Attention to detail: Ensure accuracy in planning and execution.
  • Time management: Meet deadlines while handling a variety of tasks.
  • Project management: Familiarity with tools and techniques for project tracking.
  • Collaboration: Work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Adaptability: Quickly adjust to changes and new tasks as needed

Pay Range


The salary range for the position is posted. Factors such as candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations affect the salary offered within this range. In addition, this salary may be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state and depending on the role), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
