The primary role of Engineering function within Product Development team is to create specifications and designs for new products or improvements and enhancements to existing products. Works closely with customers,
developersand other stakeholders to understand and define customer needs in these designs. Features are aligned to a timetable and areas of responsibility. Developers maysolicitcustomers for feedbackregardingproduct usability and desired future enhancements. Software Engineers who design, write and test code for the product should be matched inthe eitherSoftware Engineering Applications or Systems. Product developers who specialize in hardware systems should be matched to Hardware Engineering.

AsanAssociate Engineer, you will work directly with talented individuals of all levels. With guidance fromthe departmentalleader,you will work on several product teams.The right candidate for ourpositionwill be expected to know commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the
myAirApp and Software testing
process and rely on mentorship, instructions, and pre-established guidelines to perform the job's functions. This is preferred to be
on-site/hybridrolelocatedat our ResMed. headquarters in San Diego, CA

Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):
- Computer Science academic studies that will lead to aBachelor's or Master'sDegree (Software Engineering) or any related field)Experience with [Python, JIRA, Software Test, Android and iOS Mobile Apps, AI]
- Requires aBachelor’sdegree or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience.
- Follows standard practices and procedures and applies basic theories, concepts,principlesand methodologies in analyzing situations or data
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Great interpersonal relations, teamcooperationand communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational and collaboration skills asdemonstratedthrough leadership positions on teams and/or in student or civic organizations
- Exceptional communication skills and interest and enthusiasm related to medical technology industry and a career with ResMed
- Comfortable with using AI tools
