We are actively seeking to hire highly skilled professionals to meet our growing demand and join our expanding team(s).We currently have an opening for Regional Sales Manager - West Coast Territory in our Gowanda RCD facility, located in Manchester, NH.

This position is a remote role with the responsibility to travel up to 50% of the time within the assigned territory. This position is critical to the success of Gowanda RCD and will be supporting the engineering and production teams and reporting directly to the Director of Sales and Marketing. The ideal candidate for this position should be experienced in their field, motivated, intuitive, have product knowledge, and collaborative.

Details of the Role:

The 
West Coast Regional Sales Manager will be an individual contributor responsible for developing and executing a strategic sales plan to grow revenue and market share across the western U.S. This individual will manage and expand an existing book of business, strengthen relationships with key defense and aerospace accounts, and identify new opportunities within OEMs, contract manufacturers, and distribution partners.This is a highly visible, result-driven role for a personable professional who thrives in a technical sales environment and enjoys building long-term customer relationships.

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Manage and grow an established territory of OEM and distribution accounts across the West Coast.
  • Develop and execute account strategies to expand market share in defense, aerospace, and related high-reliability markets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with engineering, procurement, and program management teams.
  • Drive new design wins by working closely with customers’ engineering teams and internal applications engineers.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned territory.
  • Analyze territory performance, forecast sales, and report on key metrics.
  • Represent the company at industry trade shows, conferences, and customer meetings.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product management, operations) to ensure customer satisfaction and alignment with company goals.
  • Manage performance of distributors and representative firms within assigned territory.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3-5 years of technical sales experience in electronic components, ideally passive components or related interconnect products.
  • Proven track record of territory growth and account management success.
  • Strong understanding of defense and aerospace markets, programs, and procurement cycles.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills — personable, confident, and customer-focused.
  • Self-motivated, highly organized, and results-driven with the ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel regularly throughout the assigned territory (up to 50%).

Physical Requirements:


  • Ability to lift and move up to 15 pounds without trouble.
  • Must have the ability to adjust focus, have peripheral vision, and capable of adequately seeing both short and long-distance visibility.
  • Must have the ability to work with intricate tools, using motor skills function of hands and arms.
  • Must be located near a major airport in order to travel effectively to customers.
