How you will help


As a Director / Senior Director, Oncology Real-World Data at HealthVerity, we are hiring an experienced oncology-focused sales professional to help drive commercial growth for HealthVerity’s oncology real-world data and real-world evidence (RWE) solutions. This role will work closely with the VP of Sales, Oncology, while also partnering tightly with the broader HealthVerity sales organization to bring integrated data solutions to pharmaceutical and biotechnology customers.This is a hands-on, high-impact role ideal for someone who understands oncology drug development, enjoys selling complex data products, and can operate effectively within both a focused oncology team and a scaled enterprise sales environment.

What you will do


Drive Oncology Sales

  • Own a portfolio of pharmaceutical and biotech accounts with a focus on oncology.
  • Sell oncology real-world data and evidence solutions supporting:
  • Drug safety and pharmacovigilance
  • Epidemiology and observational research
  • Clinical development and R&D use cases
  • Manage full sales cycles from prospecting through close, including complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals.
  • Build strong relationships with oncology stakeholders across Safety, Epidemiology, Clinical Development, Medical Affairs, and Data Science.

Collaborate Across HealthVerity Sales

  • Work closely with the broader HealthVerity sales team to:
  • Coordinate account strategy and avoid duplication or conflict across product lines
  • Support joint selling efforts where oncology RWD is part of a broader HealthVerity data solution
  • Leverage existing HealthVerity customer relationships to accelerate oncology growth
  • Act as an oncology subject-matter expert within the HealthVerity commercial organization.
  • Partner with account executives, customer success, and leadership to align messaging, pricing, and deal structure across offerings.

Partner Cross-Functionally

  • Work closely with the VP of Sales, Product, and Data teams to:
  • Translate customer needs into clear oncology use cases and scoped engagements
  • Provide structured feedback to inform product roadmap and data enhancements
  • Help refine messaging, positioning, and customer-facing materials
  • Serve as a trusted commercial and scientific partner to customers.

Help Build the Commercial Engine

  • Contribute to oncology-specific sales processes, pipeline management, and account planning.
  • Support the development of pricing approaches, proposals, and deal structures that align with HealthVerity’s broader commercial framework.
  • Help establish best practices for selling oncology RWD/RWE within a growing organization.

Who you are 


  • A credible oncology seller who understands how pharma teams buy data and evidence.
  • Collaborative and comfortable partnering across teams and functions.
  • Consultative, organized, and disciplined with pipeline management.
  • Energized by building something new within a larger, established organization

Required skills and experience


  • 5–10+ years of experience in sales, business development, or account management with a strong oncology focus.
  • Demonstrated success selling oncology-related solutions to pharmaceutical or biotechnology companies.
  • Working knowledge of oncology drug development and real-world data use cases, especially:
  • Safety / pharmacovigilance
  • Epidemiology / observational research
  • Clinical development and R&D
  • Comfortable selling complex, consultative data solutions with long sales cycles.
  • Ability to communicate credibly with scientific, clinical, and technical stakeholders.
  • Experience collaborating within matrixed or multi-product sales organizations.

Desired skills and experience 


  • Experience selling oncology real-world data, real-world evidence, analytics, or HEOR solutions.
  • Familiarity with regulatory and evidence expectations for oncology RWE.
  • Experience working within a scaled data or analytics company while supporting a focused product area.

Base salary for the role is commensurate with experience and can range between $90,000 - 190,000 + incentive compensation plan.

Hiring Locations


Our main office is located in Center City, Philadelphia, where we operate on a hybrid model with in-office work required three days a week for local employees. We believe collaboration is most effective when teams come together, which is why we prioritize hiring in the Philadelphia area.For certain roles, we also hire from hub locations—regions where we have an established presence with multiple team members working remotely. While these employees primarily work from home, we bring them together in person at lease once a year for team-building, collaboration, and strategic planning.Due to tax and labor regulations, we can only hire from specific states.
