Role Summary
The New Technology Systems Developer will work across software, electrical, mechanical, and field-deployed systems, supporting the design, development, deployment, and support of new technologies used in our wireline operations and internal automation initiatives.This role intentionally combines hands-on field exposure with engineering development responsibilities to support full system lifecycle ownership.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software applications and user interfaces
- Embedded development (Arduino or similar platforms) where applicable
- PLC programming following IEC 61131-3 standards
- Integration and testing of industrial automation equipment
- Motor and motion control systems, including drives and servos
- Collaboration on mechanical design (CAD for fabricated components)
- Collaboration on PCB design (schematic and layout)
- Hands-on involvement in fabrication processes:
- Metal cutting, drilling, tapping
- Welding, painting, assembly
- Exposure to pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- System testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting
- Field work to support deployment, commissioning, and real-world validation of systems
Participation in concept-to-execution projects within the New Technology group
This is 100% presential position, not remote! The office is located in Irwin Pennsylvania
