The Role:

Scorability guides athletes and families through the recruiting journey with clarity and confidence. As Recruiting Education & Content Manager, you own the creation of practical, sport-specific content that helps athletes understand what to do, when to do it, and why it matters—at every stage of recruiting across many sports. You produce clear, actionable guidance across formats including written content, short-form video, infographics, and in-product education. You turn complex recruiting rules, timelines, and decisions into simple, trustworthy direction athletes and parents can act on immediately.

Working closely with Product, Marketing, and Sales, you ensure Scorability shows up as the most helpful, credible advisor in recruiting—building trust, driving engagement, and helping athletes move forward with confidence.

What you’ll do:

  • Create concise, practical, high-value content inside the Scorability Athlete platform that helps athletes and parents make confident recruiting decisions.
  • Own and maintain Scorability’s athlete content CMS, ensuring accuracy, freshness, and sport-specific relevance at all times.
  • Plan and execute a comprehensive, multi-sport content calendar aligned to recruiting timelines, key decisions, and athlete needs.
  • Identify, recruit, and manage trusted content sources—college coaches, trainers, advisors, and subject-matter experts—and persuade them to share their expertise.
  • Lead the end-to-end collection of content from those sources, including interviews, written contributions, video, and visual assets.
  • Edit, package, and adapt sourced content into athlete-friendly formats such as articles, short-form video, infographics, and in-product guidance.
  • Ensure all content reflects Scorability’s role as a trusted advisor—accurate, unbiased, and focused on what actually helps athletes move forward.
  • Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Sales to surface content that drives engagement, trust, and meaningful action.

Experience we’re seeking:

  • 5+ years creating, managing, and editing high-quality content across written, video, and visual formats, with clear ownership of outcomes (not just contribution).
  • Demonstrated experience sourcing expertise from others—interviewing subject-matter experts, extracting insight, and translating it into clear, athlete-friendly content.
  • Strong editorial judgment with the ability to turn complex topics, rules, and timelines into concise, actionable guidance.
  • Experience building and maintaining content within a CMS, with an understanding of structure, taxonomy, and long-term content health.
  • A genuine interest in sports and recruiting, with the curiosity to learn sport-specific nuances across multiple disciplines.
  • Portfolio of published work that shows clarity, credibility, and usefulness—not just creativity.
