Position Summary


The Technical Practice Project Leader II provides expert-level guidance across multiple projects and studios. As a senior individual contributor, this role shapes high-performance technical delivery practices, mentors teams, and works with the Technology Strategist to evolve firmwide standards.

Essential Functions:


  • Guide cross-office initiatives to standardize documentation, modeling and integration workflows.
  • Serve as technical lead on complex or high-visibility projects.
  • Act as a mentor and coach to Specialists and Project Leaders.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations on new technology, documentation and modeling pilots.
  • Collaborate with sector and discipline leaders on delivery strategies.

Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, or a related design discipline; professional licensure or certification preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in A/E project delivery and digital coordination.
  • Deep understanding of cross-discipline BIM workflows.
  • Strategic thinker with high attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication and mentoring ability.
  • Ability to work across disciplines and stakeholder groups to achieve project goals.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and influence team members toward successful digital project outcomes.

Physical Requirements


  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate in writing and verbally via phone, video conferencing, and in-person.
  • Visual acuity to perform responsibilities.
