Lead Data Engineer | Day-to-Day
- Architect and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performing data pipelines to support analytics, reporting, and operational needs.
- Develop and deploy production-grade data engineering code, ensuring reliability and performance across environments.
- Manage end-to-end data workflows, including ingestion, transformation, modeling, and validation for multiple business systems.
- Lead daily execution and prioritization, breaking down tasks, assigning work, and ensuring timely delivery of initiatives.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with BI analysts, technology teams, and business stakeholders to design solutions that align with strategic goals.
- Monitor and optimize data infrastructure for performance, cost efficiency, and scalability, leveraging automation where possible.
Lead Data Engineer | Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineer, or related-roles in a cross-functional environment.
- Proven leadership experience, including managing projects, teams, or technical initiatives.
- Expertise in data pipeline architecture, optimization, and reliability for large-scale systems.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, and experience with AWS services (S3, EC2, Redshift) and orchestration tools like Airflow.
- Familiarity with data modeling techniques, ETL frameworks, multiple data formats (CSV, JSON, Parquet).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
