Role Overview
Voldex is hiring a Marketing Lead to own growth and player communication for Driving Empire and NFL Universe Football — two of our flagship Roblox titles.This is a senior, hands-on role focused on how players discover, engage with, and return to our games. You will drive on-platform performance and shape player-facing messaging across game pages, live ops updates, social channels, creators, and brand activations 🚀.You will lead creative experimentation, dig into performance data, and turn insights into action.
You will mentor an existing intern and help define how marketing evolves across both games.If you enjoy building bold ideas, testing what works, and shaping how millions of players experience games, this role is for you!
What You’ll Do
Core Game Marketing
- Own on-platform performance marketing (icons, thumbnails, titles, game pages)
- Design and run creative testing frameworks
- Analyze and act on key metrics (qPTR, CTR, impressions, conversion)
- Balance short-term performance with long-term discoverability and trust
Data Analysis & Insight
- Analyze marketing performance data to diagnose issues, identify trends, and surface opportunities
- Translate data into clear narratives, charts, and recommendations for Product, Growth, and Leadership
- Partner closely with Analytics to validate findings, while owning interpretation and next-step decisions
Product & Feature Communications
- Plan communications for feature updates and live ops
- Align messaging across in-game, game pages, and social surfaces
- Ensure players understand what’s new, why it matters, and how to engage
Social, Creators & Community
- Oversee social presence (Discord, X, TikTok, YouTube, Instagram)
- Support creator content and organic distribution
- Communicate player sentiment back to game teams
- Keep scope intentional and aligned to impact
Brand & Partnership Marketing Support
- Support brand activations with thumbnails, trailers, short-form content, and messaging
- Partner closely with Brand Partnerships to ensure smooth execution
- Ensure brand integrations feel additive to the player experience
Team & Process Ownership
- Manage and mentor the NFL Universe marketing intern
- Decide if / when to hire additional support for Driving Empire
- Build repeatable processes for creative testing, launch comms, and campaign readouts
Who You Are
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in game marketing, growth marketing, or product marketing
- 2+ years of experience managing a team
- Experience marketing live-service or service-based games
- Strong experience with performance marketing and creative testing
- Demonstrated ability to use data to inform decisions and prioritize work
- Comfort creating simple charts, graphs, and written summaries to communicate insights to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Analytics, and Game Teams
- Comfortable owning outcomes end-to-end in ambiguous environments
Nice to Have
- Experience with Roblox or UGC platforms
- Experience supporting licensed or branded content
- Ability to design or edit creative materials (images & videos)
