Hopefully you enjoy the frenetic, dynamic, and exciting environment of a fast-growing firm, because we’re looking for dynamic Account Manager II, dedicated to managing growth and  profitability and growth of 3-5 accounts for West Cary Group.

Position Responsibilities:


  • Must execute strategic and tactical planning to meet client needs
  • Must develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executives
  • Must establish and maintain project budgets, timelines and administration to achieve profitability
  • Internally work in tandem with the creative team to deliver high quality, on time branding and marketing solutions
  • Must contribute to new business opportunities, including idea contribution, research and proposal preparation
  • Forecast and track client account metrics
  • Enhance department and organization’s reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
  • Develop new opportunities to grow the client’s business through branding and marketing efforts
  • Awareness of marketing trends and innovations
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Essential Skills and Experience:


  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent job experience
  • 3-5 years of advertising agency experience and a solid grasp of the fundamentals of marketing and advertising
  • Experience in traditional marketing channels (print, television, radio, point of sale, promotions) as well as newer media like online marketing, social networking, blogs, etc.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including presentation/pitch skills
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented attitude
  • Flexibility (e.g. the ability to handle an account where deadlines are tight and client preferences may change suddenly and with short notice)
  • The ability to both work independently and function as a high performing team member
  • An innate desire to operate at the top of your game and deliver the best creative product
  • Commitment to bringing consistent thought leadership in support of the client’s marketing and communication needs
  • Relationship management, project management or process management experience is a plus

Salary DescriptionAnnual Salary Range: $75,100 to $82,600
