Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and professional Security Guard to support operations at our manufacturing facility in Beltsville, Maryland. This role is responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and orderly environment for employees, visitors, and property.This position follows a rotating 12-hour day shift schedule, meaning some weeks you will work 3 days, and other weeks 4 days.

Schedule Details
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Rotation:
- Week 1: 3 days
- Week 2: 4 days
- Includes weekends as part of the rotation
- Consistent, predictable schedule once assigned
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor facility entrances and exits
- Control access for employees, visitors, and vendors
- Conduct routine security checks and patrols
- Observe and report suspicious activity or safety concerns
- Maintain daily security logs and incident reports
- Respond calmly and professionally to situations as they arise
- Support overall workplace safety policies
Qualifications
- Prior security, warehouse, or facility experience preferred (not required)
- Ability to remain alert and attentive during 12-hour shifts
- Strong reliability and punctuality
- Professional demeanor and good communication skills
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
