Client Business Specialist – Federal Team

As part of the sales account team, this individual will be responsible for preparing quotes, processing orders, providing order status, and general communication with agencies and FSIs. Summary Responsible for overall execution of sales transactions and support of Outside Sellers with customer first mentality. Responsibilities and Expectations The Inside Sales Operations position supports multiple Outside Sellers across many customers to serve as the end-to-end point of contact. JOB DESCRIPTION Sales Operations
- Partner with Technical Architects and Business Development Managers (BDMs)to deliver IT solutions for client’s needs.
- Manage the entire sales order process from Quoteto Cash:
- Understand the deal registration process for various OEMs.
- Perform administration duties, including quote creation, purchase order management, handing returns, coordinate deliveries, and verifying sales forecasting pipeline.
- Strategically manage pricing for best options based on stock levels and various promotions.
- Learn basics around product/software warranty expirations and renewal options.
- License management – review usage reports/invoices for proper processing.
- Reporting, special projects, and tasks as requested by the BDMs.
- Demonstrates skill in data analysis techniques by resolving missing/incomplete information, inconsistencies/anomalies in more complex research/data.
- Participate in training; achieve certifications on an as needed basis.
Customer Success
- Understanding client preferences and vendor requirements.
- Relationship Building. Relationships are the key to success- not only with our customers but within our internal organization and vendor partners.
- Nature of work requires increasing independence; receives guidance only on unusual complex problems or issues. Work review typically involves periodic review of output by supervisor and/or direct "customers" of the process.
Project Management
- Route incoming Professional Services or Managed Services requests.
- Understanding of services order setup and billing needs.
REQUIREMENTS
- Process/Detail Oriented/Self Motivated.
- Ability to pivot and reprioritize tasks throughout the day based on business needs.
- Desire to learn about IT Products & Services.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Applications (Outlook and Excel specifically).
- Good work ethic, self-discipline, persistence, the ability to work independently or as a team.
- Demonstrate Excellent Communication & Customer Relationship Skills.
- Understanding of the U.S. Federal landscape.
- Other responsibilities may be assigned from time to time as needed, based on the evolution of the company and the requirements of the department/position.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE Some college or military service preferred. Previous work experience supporting the U.S. Federal sector and with supply chain is a strong plus. BUSINESS HOURS Traditional business hours, however, flexibility is required during peak times and seasons. BENEFITS This is a salary plus commission role.
