Job Purpose
The Key Account Manager – Retail is responsible for developing and managing key retail accounts and delivering end-to-end turnkey fit-out projects for retail shops. The role focuses on building strong relationships with developers, landlords, and leasing teams, converting retail opportunities into awarded projects, and ensuring successful project delivery in coordination with internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Account Management
- Develop and manage strategic relationships with retail developers, mall operators, landlords, and leasing teams.
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned key retail accounts.
- Identify and secure new retail fit-out and turnkey project opportunities.
- Maintain a strong pipeline of retail projects and ensure timely follow-ups.
Retail Turnkey Projects
- Handle turnkey retail projects from lead generation through project handover.
- Coordinate with design, estimation, procurement, and project teams to deliver complete retail solutions.
- Support concept design, budgeting, value engineering, and commercial negotiations.
- Ensure client requirements, brand guidelines, and timelines are clearly communicated and met.
Sales & Commercial Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit proposals, commercial offers, and contracts for retail projects.
- Lead negotiations with clients to close deals in line with company margins and policies.
- Monitor project financials, including variations, claims, and final accounts, in coordination with the commercial team.
Relationship & Market Management
- Maintain excellent connections with leasing managers and developers to gain early visibility on upcoming retail units and projects.
- Represent the company in meetings, presentations, and industry events related to retail developments.
- Track market trends, competitor activities, and retail expansion plans.
Coordination & Reporting
- Coordinate internally to ensure smooth execution and client satisfaction.
- Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and updates to management.
- Ensure CRM systems and project records are kept up to date.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in retail fit-out, turnkey projects, or related construction/interior sectors.
- Proven experience handling retail shops, malls, and commercial retail developments.
- Strong network and established relationships with developers, landlords, and leasing teams in the Saudi market.
