About the Project
Our client is building a core personalization platform used by external clients and partners across web and mobile environments. As part of this ecosystem, they maintain Web and React Native SDKs that allow third-party applications to integrate seamlessly with their APIs.This role focuses on SDK and platform engineering, not product UI development. The mission is to ensure stability, backward compatibility, performance, and a great developer experience across browser-based and mobile (React Native) integrations.
Role Summary
We are looking for a Senior Web & React Native SDK Engineer to own and evolve the company’s Web and React Native SDKs.This is a platform-level engineering role, ideal for someone with strong JavaScript/TypeScript fundamentals who has experience building and maintaining SDKs, libraries, or reusable packages used by other developers.You will work closely with Backend, iOS, and Android SDK engineers to ensure consistent behavior across platforms, while managing SDK releases, versioning, documentation, and developer tooling.
Key Responsibilities
SDK Design & Development
- Design, develop, and maintain Web and React Native SDKs used by external clients and partners.
- Build SDK APIs that wrap company REST services for event tracking, reporting, and personalization.
- Ensure SDK stability, performance, and backward compatibility across versions.
- Manage SDK versioning, releases, and dependency coordination.
- Publish and maintain SDK packages via npm.
Quality, Tooling & Documentation
- Develop and maintain unit tests for shared and platform-specific SDK logic.
- Optimize SDK size, performance, and reliability.
- Maintain SDK documentation, integration guides, and usage examples.
- Maintain demo applications (Web and React Native) used to validate and showcase SDK functionality.
Cross-Platform Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with Backend, iOS, and Android SDK engineers to align behavior and contracts across platforms.
- Participate in technical discussions around architecture, API design, and developer experience.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines related to SDK build, test, and release processes.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience with JavaScript / TypeScript.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript.
- Proven experience building and maintaining SDKs, libraries, or reusable packages (not just applications).
- Experience supporting React Native across both iOS and Android environments.
- Experience building browser-based SDKs and handling cross-browser compatibility.
- Strong experience consuming and abstracting RESTful APIs.
- Experience publishing, versioning, and maintaining packages via npm.
- Proficiency with Git and modern CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong communication skills and advanced English.
Nice to Have
- Experience supporting external or partner-facing SDKs.
- Experience with SDK-level error handling, logging, and diagnostics.
- Knowledge of package bundling, tree-shaking, and size optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with native bridges in React Native.
- Experience collaborating closely with native iOS and Android SDK teams.
